What are the Baseball Seasons?

A. Spring Season (April-June) typically offers Divisions for ages below:

  Intermediates (age 13) $190

  Majors (age 11-12) $185

  Minors AAA (age 9-10) $185

  Minors AA (age 8) $165

  Minors A (age 6-7) $135

  Tee Ball (age 4-5) $135 


B. Summer Season (June & July)

 We offer an all-star/district team at each state district level of play

1. Ages 10, 11, 12

2. Kids are voted onto the roster by the division managers


We also offer alternative summer league play for all ages based on various tournaments we can utilize in the area

-Alternate team option provided for Majors, AAA, AA and A age groups for summer baseball play to continue

-Options may vary based on tournaments determined to run each year and amount of athletes who sign up to play

C. Fall Season (Sept – Oct) typically offers Divisions for ages below:

  Intermediates (age 13)

  Majors (age 11-12)

  Combo AAA/AA (ages 8-10)

  Single A Clinic only (ages 6-7)



2.     When is registration open?

Spring Season

Early December – April when season starts

***Older players (AA and up) are strongly encouraged to register by end of January to guarantee a spot and receive information for winter workouts 

Fall Season

Registration opens end of July and closes Mid-August


3.     How do I receive notifications?

a.    Once you have a profile set up in our system you will receive our mass email communications. 

b.     You can also find us on Facebook at our public Bedford Little League page, and also our private Bedford Little League (NH) Group.


4.     What gear does my child need?

**If you need assistance with equipment for your child please let your head coach know because the league can help provide necessary equipment.  

 

a.    It is required that every athlete have their own baseball glove at all ages.

b.    The following gear is encouraged for the following ages groups:

                                               i.       Intermediates – glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball pants, cleats

                                             ii.     Majors – glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball pants, cleats

                                            iii.     AAA – glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball pants, *cleats become very helpful at this point

                                            iv.     AA – glove, bat, batting helmet (workout pants and sneakers are acceptable)

                                             v.     A – glove, bat, batting helmet (workout pants and sneakers are acceptable)

                                            vi.     Tee Ball – glove, bat, batting helmet (workout pants and sneakers are acceptable)

 

5.     What is the schedule?

*Schedules are based entirely on Manager/Coaches availability, and field availability.  Due to weather as well – schedules are always subject to change.  The following are guidelines on typically what each division strives for their schedule to follow.

Intermediates – Typically 1-2 games a week (weekdays only).  Regular practice during the week as schedule and weather allows.

Majors – Typically 1-2 games per week (weekdays with the occasional Saturday game).  Practices 1-2 times a week as schedule and weather allows.

AAA – Typically 1-2 games per week (weekdays with the occasional Saturday game).  Practices 1-2 times a week as schedule and weather allows.

AA – Typically 1-2 games per week.  Games are weekdays and sometimes Saturdays. Typically 1-2 practices a week based on coaches preference and field availability.

A – One practice per week with one game on Saturday.  Practices will vary based on head coaches and field availability.

Tee-Ball – One practice per week with one game on Saturday. Practices will vary based on head coaches and field availability.


6.     What is the cost?

*Costs are reviewed each year based on costs of maintaining fields, equipment, and league requirements.  We do our best to keep costs as minimal as possible, and we also offer financial assistance to those who cannot afford the registration fees.

*We do offer discounts for “early bird” registration so please be aware of those dates when notifications are sent out!

AA – $145

A – $115

Tee Ball – $115


Fall 2023:

Intermediates, Majors, AAA/AA - $85 per athlete

Single A clinic - $50 per athlete
